They say you always remember your
first time. In August 2004, on a Canadian road trip, AMJ and Leo Marchildon
visited Prince Edward Island and were unprepared for the effect that visit
would have on them. It rained the first day, but, on the morning of the
second day (22 August), AMJ and Leo fell under the spell of Cavendish Beach.
It was while the latter pictures were taken that Leo, on the heels of just
having seen the Anne of Green Gables
musical the night before, asked "Why don't we write a musical?" And the
journey began.
