| 8 August 2009 • The Nine Lives of L.M. Montgomery has turned their Friday, 14 August performance into a benefit for the Canadian Mental Health Association! As we now know, Maud and her husband Ewan both grappled with mental illness (chronic depression and bipolar disorder, respectively) - and it was from a desire to destigmatize mental illness that the Heirs of L.M. Montgomery came forward last fall with the news of Maud's suicide. Now the cast of 9LoLMM joins them by donating 50% of the proceeds from that night to the CMHA! Take in an exciting night of theatre and help promote mental health at the same time! Click Tickets to do your part - and visit the Press page to listen to an in-depth radio interview (Mainstreet, 6 August 2009) on the subject with AMJ, Brodie MacRae (Ewan), and Bev Thompson from the CMHA. • You can now listen to all the 2009 radio interviews featuring AMJ, Leo, and cast members from 9LoLMM, also new on the Press page! • And don't forget that 9LoLMM closes 21 August!
